Food – There are plenty of options when it comes to food in this trip. You can try a
Nepali Khana Set: (Rice, Lentils, Curry, Pickle, Meat Curry) or Noodles, Pasta, Momos on the way or at local teahouses.
You can choose a varied set of food; indian, continental, american from the menu at standard hotels. You can choose a veg or non-veg one as your preference. The choice of fruit will depend on the season, but, mostly it will be bananas and apples.
Accommodation
Local Tea House – Local Tea Houses offer basic accommodation facilities such as a bed (clean and comfortable), bathrooms (in some places you can get a attached bathroom, in some places you have to share a common bathroom and non air conditioned. You will get a single room on twin sharing basis at most places while at higher altitudes you might have to share a room with few other people. Our guides will try their best to get you the best accomodation possible.
Standard Hotels – By standard hotels, we mean 2-3 star hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
Drinking Water – We will provide you with bottled mineral water which can be found all along the trail. Make sure you dispose the bottle properly.
Clothes & Gears – A T-shirt, normal hiking shoes and a biking short for the ride. We recommend the following list of clothes for your backpack.
- Water/wind proof jacket, Fleece Jacket, Down Jacket (for winter)
- Warm T-shirts, Short, Trouser
- Sunglasses, Sun cream, Hat, Sanitizers, Moisturizer cream.
- Scarf, Socks.
Overview
Explore the majestic kathmandu valley from different hill stations, at the same time experience
Tamang & Newari culture and historical heritages riding along the rims of the valley. Not the
least, you can also witness magnificent views of Central Nepal Himalayan Range.
This moderate ride along the mixed trail offers fascinating riding experience. Mostly we ride on
flat and uphill along the country roads. The fourth day ride from the top of Nagarkot to Dhulikhel
offers dazzling downhill experience for the riders.
